The best is yet to come.
A Lifetime Dedicated to the Game
Born and raised in Maplewood, NJ, Jules began playing for the Maplewood Lacrosse Club at 7 years old.
He would continue to play competitively through his elementary and middle school years, often playing up with his brother Dylan. His passion for the sport was evident early on and, and would lead him to transfer to Seton Hall Preparatory School as a Junior. After capturing a championship on the basketball court, Jules would go on to lead a 2-8 lacrosse team on a historic 10 game run to the State Championship.

An Unranked Recruit
Jules would go on to play Big Ten lacrosse in his home state at Rutgers University. There, he would lead the resurgence of Rutgers Lacrosse to national prominence. The program would rise to the top of the ranks nationally and become a staple in the Big Ten.
Jules departed the team after four years of play as a Two Time Captain, All-Big Ten Player, All-American, and second all-time point scorer in the history of the program. Jules would go on to make history again as Rutgers’ highest-ranked professional draft pick. He was selected 7th overall in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse Draft and would go on to be drafted as the #38 pick to the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League.
From Juke Lab to the Premier Lacrosse League
Following college, Jules took his field skills to the masses by developing Juke Lab, his training system specializing in footwork and dodging on field. Today, the Juke Lab works together with First Class Lacrosse, the premier digital and in person training nationwide.
In 2019, Jules would join the Premier Lacrosse League where he would go on to be a force in the league's inaugural season starting as an attackman on the Whipsnakes. He would be traded to the Redwoods after three games where he led the team in scoring and points. He ended the season as Top 5 point scorer in the league, PLL All-Star, and a contender in the championship game.
Making the Most of EVERY Situation
After a tremendous season, Jules could not wait to play in 2020. With all the uncertainties that the year brought, the PLL was able to host a tournament season in a Bubble, however, Jules did not make the cut. Unfortunately, he tested positive for COVID-19 about a month before the season kicked off. Though he was asymptomatic, the lingering effects of the virus impacted Jules’ heart and lungs. He was uncleared to play and had to depart the Bubble and cheer on his team from afar.
Jules was especially eager to take the field, as he penned a powerful piece Standing at the Crossroads bringing to light his previously unaware background and story as a black player in the sport. Since then, he has worked to unite the Black Professional players, helping to establish the Black Lacrosse Alliance, and serves as the acting President. Their primary goal is to improve the diversity of lacrosse, specifically at the professional level, and create a more inclusive culture.
Not only did he commit to being a voice in advocacy, but he spent his time off focusing on launching Mission Primed. Taking notes from his journey, Mission Primed was developed to help nourish and enrich young men with the tools they need to excel both on and off the field. It is more than just a one-time experience for these kids, it is a mentorship and networking program that will follow them beyond their high school years.
Jules is most excited to get back to playing the game he loves in 2021. With close to 2 years since the last playing and a busy offseason, he is poised to take his game to the next level and hopes to inspire players everywhere in doing so.
